Small Group Kids

Callie, Tyler, Camie, Nathan, Ashlyn, Regan, Noah and Autumn

After 2 1/2 years of amazing community, it's time to say good bye to our small group. My friends from small group are my best friends, the ones that I've known all my life. Tonight was the last time that we were all together in the same place at the same time until who knows when. Taking a look at this picture, I'm sure you can imagine that small group was always a bit of a zoo with all of us kids, but everyone loved it!

Grass

I have officially overcome my dislike of grass.....

Big Leauge

Me and Isaiah sharing his toys.

Grace giving me a good bye kiss.

Me and Grace posing on the couch.

In addition to playdates with lots of little friends, I've had a few playdates with some of my older friends. These playdates involve a lot more sharing and much more posing at picture time.

Prom

One of the last Kellogg events that mummy & daddy attended was the Manager's Ball, which is affectionately referred to as prom. They went with Jeff & Allison because now Jeff is at Kellogg too. I know I'm not in the picture, but everyone looks so spiffy I thought I'd share it.

10 Months

Today is my 10 month birthday. It passed with little fanfare - a trip to the YMCA, Linens & Things and the park. At the park today I kept trying to eat grass, which baffles mummy since I won't eat anything she tries to feed me. I also was practicing my unassisted stand with the feel of the grass under my bare feet. It was fun.

I won't have any real stats until my 1 year appointment, but on our scale at home I just broke the 19 lb mark.

Baby Play

Me and my birthday buddy Connor. I was too busy eating the spoon to smile.

Me and Mirella. I'm still learning how to be gentle.

Here I'm just hanging out under the side table again. I love this place!

I've been busy lately. Most of you have probably heard that we're moving to Boston soon, so I've been busy with playdates and hanging out. I have much a different experience playing with other babies then playing with big kids as we don't really pose, but do stay close.

Still Mama's Boy

Need I say more?

Splish Splash

I love water. Between swimming lessons and bath time, I'm a little fish. I love to splash, it's such great fun. Actually, I love splashing so much that some of the other kids at swim lessons are scared of me because I make such big splashes and shriek with such delight. Anyway, I digress, tonight mummy and daddy we both home to give me a bath and all I'm going to say is we were all dripping wet when it was done.

On Top of the World

As you probably know, my daddy is tall - 6'5 , and I am not. That makes being on daddy's shoulders one of my favorite places to be. I can see everything from there and have to watch my head as we walk through doorways. It's great fun! Of course, I'm not used to being so high up, so I hold onto daddy's hair really tight, as you can see.

Day in the Park

Mummy and I went to the park for the first time ever the other day. We'd had a beautiful weekend - a sure sign of spring, so mummy was determined to make it work. Of course we ended up going on the coldest day of the week, hence my heavy coat. Nonetheless, I loved the swing and look forward to many trips to the park in the future.

St. Louis

A few weeks ago, mummy and daddy's friends (Ed & Susan) from St Louis came to visit. Mummy and daddy actually know them from Boston and were delighted to see them in Illinois. I was glad to see them too because they brought their 14 month old son, Josh, to play with me. We had a very fun time playing together and I hope that they visit us again someday.

Walking Shoes

Now that I'm starting to cruise, it's time for shoes every now and then. I've only got one pair, these cute navy ones, that mummy is trying to match everything to. I love this walking toy, there's nowhere I won't try and go with it. I don't even need any help to stand with it, I really am turning into a big boy.

On another note, I just cut my top two middle teeth. Someday they may be all the way in and start showing up in pictures.

Table Time

Now that I'm mobile there's nowhere I can't go. One of my new favorite places to hang out is on the shelf of the side table. I like to sit there and check things out and sometimes I throw the coasters around. The joys of being little.
