Just Like Daddy

Daddy's Blackberry is just like a mini computer - just my size. Here I am updating my blog.

Happy Halloween!

Am I a lion, a tiger or Winnie the Pooh - you be the judge as all three have been guessed.

Gordon College

Mummy's alma mater sent me a "welcome to the world" bib the other day. I know that there's lots of bib shots of me, but here's another for good measure. I'm not sure where I want to go to college yet, but I am enticed by free gifts.

For those of you who are visiting my blog to see all the pictures that have ever been taken of me, you'll see a section on the right titled "More Pictures" with a series of links for my various ages. All you have to do is click on the link and then follow the instructions. If you have any technical difficulty, call daddy as I've outsourced the support aspect of this project to him. Hope that you enjoy!

Swept Away

What a year for me and Red Sox baseball! My first year as a Red Sox fan and they sweep the World Series against the Colorado Rockies! Mike Lowell is my current sports hero who inspires me to little league. Some older Red Sox fans talk about years of heartbreak, but for me it's a it's a huge rush. I look forward to many exciting years ahead.

Way to go Red Sox!!!!!

Standing

Look at me stand! I may only be knee high to a grasshopper, but I do love to stand. Ok, don't be too impressed, daddy was my spotter and mummy got this shot in the few seconds that I was standing solo.

Rolling

I've done it! I'm rolling! Ok so I've only done it in my crib, but I've done it a number of times and mummy has even watched me do it. I took the easy roll first - front to back, but as soon as I have that one fully mastered I'll move onto the back to front roll.

Version 4.0

So another month has gone by and I am old, wiser and bigger for it. I'm now 13 lbs 10 oz (25%) and 24 1/2 inches long (25%). I got more shots at the doctors office, but after a few tears I was fine. Now I don't have to go back until after Christmas, and who knows what I'll be up to by then.

Red Sox Nation Rejoice!

The Red Sox are going to the World Series!!! What a great first year of baseball for me! Maybe mummy will let me stay up late to watch the series. If nothing else, I've got my Wallie mobile to keep my spirits up.

Mama's Boy

So I may look a lot like daddy, but I'm a total mama's boy. Don't get me wrong, I love my daddy too, but mama's my go to. Since I do spend so much time with mama, I thought she should appear on my blog at some point.

Hanging Out

Today I got to hang out with my buddy Connor who is 5 days younger then me. He's the only guy I know my age so we had a lot to talk about. At our age we did more sleeping then playing, but we did have some fun.

Working Hard

I haven't figured out how to roll on my own yet, but I practice almost everyday. I tell you, it's hard work, but I'm almost there. Here you'll see that I'm headed in the right direction. I'll keep you posted for the big event......

My First Cold

A first that mummy was hoping was far away came much sooner then expected. I have my first cold. I'm in relatively good spirits considering, but there's all sorts of stuff dripping from my nose. I guess this is the price I pay for being a man about town.

On another note, check out my Marks & Spencers outfit. It's a very popular store in the UK and my great-uncle John and his family sent this to me. Do you like how it matches my burp cloth?

Cameraman

I love the camera; film, digital, video - they're all great. I love them so much actually that whenever I see one I stop doing the cute thing that I was doing and stare at the camera. For this photo I'd just about managed to get my whole fist in my mouth before I noticed mummy sneaking up on me.

Coldest Days of My Life

Apparently we're entering this new season called fall, and it's kinda cold. Actually, these are the coldest days of my life so far. It's been in the high 50's low 60's and we've had some fall rain. I'm not really too bothered by the cold yet (although I hear it gets worse) but mummy is dressing me in lots more clothes now and I always have to wear socks.

I've found my new favorite activity, which is seeing how many fingers I can shove in my mouth at a time. Four seems to be my limit so far, but I practice every chance I get.

Apples in October???

To celebrate fall, we went to Jonamac Apple Orchard today in Malta, IL for our annual apple picking experience and low and behold, there were no apples to pick because it's been so hot this fall. We wandered around the pumpkin patch instead, ate apple related treats, played in the playground and then headed home. You'll see that I had a great time as did my friends, Nathan, Regan and Camryn.

Blue Barbados

While we waited for our plane to leave Barbados, we waited in this bright blue lounge. Me and daddy got the memo, but mummy was wearing raspberry so she got to take the pictures instead.

International Man of Mystery

I've got my first stamp in my passport now. It may not be breaking news, but come on, I'm only 3 months old! I went to Barbados with mummy and daddy for the week. Most days were pretty warm and a few were rainy so we spent a lot of time inside. Mummy kept talking about my fair skin burning, but I did manage to get in a swim in the Caribbean Ocean which I enjoyed much more then my Atlantic Ocean experience. The water was much warmer and I think a little boy could get used to the clear blue water.

On another note, have you noticed how big my feet are in the last few photos? I may still only be in the 10th percentile for height, but I plan on growing into my feet over the next year, so there's no need to fear.

Forward Facing

My first ride facing forward in my stroller. We were shopping duty-free in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Go Red Sox!

I was so happy that the Red Sox got to celebrate their first American League East division title in 12 years that I had to wear daddy's hat.
