This is my favorite way to nap. Mummy pretends to be annoyed, but I know that she loves the excuse to get a few extra ZZZZs in too.......

Dreaming About Lunch

Ok, so I admit I've taken a bit of a break in my blogging. I've been very busy these past few weeks growing and learning all sorts of new things. I've spent a good deal of time on my favorite activity - eating and now weigh a whopping 8lbs 12 oz. Mummy says that very soon I should be able to wear all my 0-3 month clothes. I've also grow a bit longer. My doctor measures height differently then the hospital so she thinks I was only 18 3/4 when I was born, but I'm now 20 3/8. Apparently I'm taking after mummy right now as I'm only in the 5th percentile for height. Fear not though, with a 39 inch circumference, I'm in the 75th percentile for my head.

Otherwise I've finally met all the kids in mummy & daddy's small group, gone on many local adventures, learned to hold my head up and track objects as they move. My grandpa Goodall and Marc came for a short visit and before I know it, my grandma Abrams will be here. Daddy has started traveling for work and doesn't understand yet that I should get presents every time he goes. I've got to work on training him better.

Well, I should get going, my swing is calling me!

Lots of visitors

It's been a while since I last posted as I've had an awful lot of visitors in that time, and when I've not had visitors Daddy's been gone a lot with work and school so I haven't been able to use his computer.

First, Grandpa Goodall and Marc came to visit me in their RV all the way from Pennsylvania. When they came I went to visit their RV where got to meet their dogs, Barney and Ralph, who we took for a walk , as well as their cats Soames and Chivers. The weekend they visited we went out to restaurants for the first time, and Mummy and Daddy said I behaved myself very well. Our friends Dave and Amy were also in town and we went out to another restaurant for dinner with them. Now that I've behaved myself perhaps Mummy and Daddy will take me to some more fancy places now - perhaps a nice steak and Cab at Smith & Wollensky to start?

Swinging

Here is another fun toy I've got - my friends the McCue's (he's a pizza man) gave it to me - it's this great swing with fun fish on it. It plays music, has swimming fish and rocks me back and forth. I enjoying napping in it - mummy and daddy say it's the perfect toy - although they also recommend buying stock in battery companies...

Playtime!

Today was a busy day - I went back to the hospital to talk to the nurses about my feeding patterns. We've got a new plan which should allow both mummy and me to get some sleep at night. We've been making great progress - I'm back to my birth weight of 6lbs 12oz after dropping as low as 6lbs 1oz - so everyone was happy. Mummy was also told to drink beer - I thought alcohol wasn't recommended, but it's supposed to make more food for me so if mummy is "happy" then I'll be happy.

I'm also beginning to spend more time playing - I've got so many cool toys including this great play mat pictured above which I got from my friends Lisa, Omar, Sam and India who live in Paris, France. I went to visit them when I was in mummy's tummy. Soon I'll get to travel now that I'm on the outside - I already have my first plane ticket booked to go to Boston in September for a whole week! I look forward to meeting all my Boston friends then.

Off to eat - so many choices - I think I'll have the milk...

My Gran's leaving...

After being out in Chicago for over two weeks helping Mummy, Daddy and me Gran Goodall is going home tomorrow on a big airplane. She's been so great - helping clean me, changing my diapers, listening to my singing, keeping all my clothes clean and cuddling me as well as keeping Mummy and Daddy fed with good nutritious food, keeping them in clean clothes and allowing them get some sleep. I'm not sure if Mummy and Daddy would have made it through the last couple of weeks without her help. We'll really miss her, but look forward to seeing her again very soon as well as my other grandparents who'll be coming out soon.
